For purposes of receiving a residential rate, the purchaser must be an individual with a permanent residential address within the City of Montague; or is the owner and taxpayer of record for a parcel in the City of Montague (commercial building, boat slip owner, etc.). The City will verify residency (if applicable) and verify receipt of payment prior to processing your facility reservation request and entering information onto the Montague Parks & Facilities Calendar. The City will e-mail you a confirmation, and depending on the facility, a reservation card may also be e-mailed to you which you can print and post at the site.

In order to reserve and utilize a pavilion the applicant must consent to all applicable rules and regulations. (Read and Check All to Verify Consent)

Rules for All Parks / Facilities

I understand – All parks and facility hours are from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.

I understand – No fireworks, alcoholic beverages, or glass bottles are permitted.

I understand – No overnight camping or overnight parking is permitted.

I understand – No staples, nails, or tacks may be used to attach decorations or other items to the structure.

I understand – Vehicles permitted in parking areas only. No parking or driving on grass / vegetated areas.

I understand – Disorderly conduct is prohibited; including but not limited to noise levels / volume.

I understand – In accordance with Michigan Law, all dogs must be leashed at all times.

I understand – Trash that cannot be contained in receptacles provided at the facility must be hauled away by organizer.

I understand – Reservation of facilities entitles the renting party to exclusive use of structure itself (pavilion) and does not reserve any other area of the park (grassed areas, bathrooms, playground, etc.); however, reservation of the band shell includes use of the grassed area in front of the stage.

I understand – Renters are required to clean the facility and surrounding area.

I understand – No additional event tents may be erected on the park grounds without prior consent of the City.

By submitting this application and subsequent payment:

I have verified on the Montague Parks & Facilities Calendar that no other events are scheduled to occur during the date(s) / time(s) that have been requested.

I agree to abide by all the rules and regulations outlined above and all local ordinances.

I understand that depending on the event, activity, or use of the facility that the City may require proof of liability insurance, and I agree to provide proof upon request prior to receiving final approval.

I understand that the City is not liable for any damaged, lost, or stolen equipment or materials brought to the facility. All items will be removed and any items not removed may be disposed of by the City. I agree that I am responsible for the full cost of repair or damage that occurs at the facility during its use.

I agree that the City reserves the right to deny future reservation of City facilities because of misconduct and / or failure to leave facility in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition. I further agree that if the City has issued a key that I am responsible for returning that key in order to use City facilities in the future.
